Definitions

In this document "we", "our", "us" refers to Aether Summon LTD. (pending EU registration), "platform", "website", "application" refers to the website provided at the aethersummon.com, "you", "your", "player", "user", refers to you using the platform, "services" refers to all possible services provided by accessing the platform, including but not limited to games, marketplace, collections.


Data Collection

We collect relevant data regarding user access due to the competitive nature of the offered service.

In order to guarantee fairness and prevent cheating we need to store data that enables us to see gameplay, access to the platform and usage patterns, in single accounts or across registered accounts.

In practice this means IP addresses and other uniquely identifying information pertaining the device and connection used to access the platform, associated with the account registered if one exists, is stored.

An account requires sharing of an e-mail address and platform purchases require the creation of correlatable records in third-party providers we use. We DO NOT store any transaction, consumer or payment details in our datastores, all purchase flows are conducted entirely under the provider hosted services for total privacy and security according to the highest industry standards.


Data Retention

Data is kept until lawfully mandated for various purposes (compliance, money-laundering, racketing, amongst others), even after account termination, due to the nature of competitive gaming with possibility of monetary prizes.

Third Parties

aethersummon.com relies on third-party providers to enable some of the offered services, you should visit these providers to understand how they deal with your data:

  • twilio.com: Provides e-mail delivery;
  • stripe.com: Provides safe global purchase and transaction channels;
  • AWS: Infrastructure providers including cloudfront which serves all the platform assets;
