Definitions
In this document "we", "our", "us" refers to Aether Summon LTD. (pending EU registration), "platform", "website", "application" refers to the website provided at the aethersummon.com, "you", "your", "player", "user", refers to you using the platform, "services" refers to all possible services provided by accessing the platform, including but not limited to games, marketplace, collections.
"Game" refers to the Aether Summon Game in all its modalities - "Duel", "Chaos Brawl" and required ancillary systems.
"Collection" refers to the inventory of digital scrolls (cards) each registered account has associated with it.
"Wallet" refers to the registered account associated record of in-game items, "coins", "tickets", "coupons".
"Tomes" refers to in-game digital items containing digital scrolls that can be used to extend the player's collection or entering certain games.
"BETA" refers to the period of time preceding the full release of the game that is made available in order to gather user feedback.
Registration
Besides the limited tutorial and BETA demo currently available (since May 2026) the game requires a registered account, with a valid verifiable e-mail address.
By registering in our platform you agree with these Terms of Service.
Failure to abide by the rules and code of conduct of the platform can lead to direct termination of your account.
Platform
aethersummon.com is an online browser based platform that provides registered users access to the Aether Summon game and ancillary services.
The game offers different modes of play, ranging from totally free to ingress-based.
This game is part of the Trading Card Game Genre but has several important distinctions. First it has no physical counterpart. It's totally digital. Second, contrary to these games, there's no randomness associated with the game-play due to deck shuffling, card drawing, or rarity, since those are not present in the game.
Each user account has associated a digital-only collection of game-items, game-resources and account related cosmetic/display personalisation options.
Our platform enables users to play a strategy turn-based card game against other players across the internet requiring only a compatible browser and an account.
In the platform registered accounts can execute purchases or use of the marketplace to acquire items and enter tournaments, usage of such features requires the user to be an adult or authorized by a legal caretaker.
In-Game Items & Refunds
The platform provides different types of game-play.
"Playground" duels and collections refers to a game-play mode where the user isn't required to own any digital items to use them in games against other players in the same mode.
Registered users can nonetheless acquire items: coins - to make purchases of in-game items or enter ingress-based tournaments; tomes - random packs of scrolls; individual scrolls - either through purchase of those from the platform, or marketplace exchanges with other players.
Access to any of the paid functionalities of Aether Summon requires the usage of a payment method associated with an adult person.
Refunds for in-game acquisitions, tournament fees or others are eligible if due to a demonstrable error on the platform or game. In-game bugs are eligible as long as relevant data is given, including browser version and device details, and if reproducible under default settings for the same browser. All games between registered accounts are stored and replayable - the engine guarantes deterministic replay and as such it's possible to test the exact same game up to the issue on a default browser.
Obviously we have no intention of providing a bad experience to players and we're in BETA, good bug reports, suggestions, can also be rewarded.
Accounts
An account requires you to register in the platform using a valid verifiable e-mail address.
A user can have more than one account if he so wishes for game-purposes as long as those accounts do not access and use the platform in the same time frames.
A user with multiple accounts that engages in the marketplace will be flagged as suspicious and in case of any wrong-doing may be legally prosecuted under digital fraud and market manipulation.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate any account associated with uncompetitive, racist, discriminatory, cheating, or unlawful behaviour.
Attempts to manipulate or otherwise use the marketplace for illegal ends may result in criminal charges along with total account access blocking, including any and all items associated with such account independently of perceived or real value of such items.
User accounts terminated due to the previously mentioned causes, with proof, will be barred any and all future access to the platform.
Jurisdiction
The game is currently served from AWS North-American Servers and the platform is registered in Portugal (Portuguese Republic), which will be the legal jurisdiction for all and any issues related to the platform, game, or purchases.
